Image scrunching on load
I've got a problem with displaying coloured images (jpeg, gif) in a WAP browser. The problem is that when a page loads, some of the images do not load to the correct size. If I reload the page the image may correct it size, and/or other images might resize themselves to incorrect sizes. This problem is occurring on a range of images that are a few hundred bytes to a couple of kilobytes. Any ideas on why this may be happening? Any suggestion on solutions?
I've already have the width and height attributes in the img tag set to the exact size of the image and this seems to have absolutely no effect on eradicating this problem.

<p><img src="<%= gblStrServerName >images/sample/sample_11.jpg" width="100" height="100" /></p> |
