image size can not be changed
Hi all,
I try to amplify a picture in a wap site with the following code: <img src="/logo.gif" width="40" height="40"> but the image always shown its original size anybody can give me some suggestions? Thanks dejie |

Why not resize the image then upload it

because the database is huge, there are more than thousands of pictures there, and also i don't think i have the right to modify it.
Any other suggestions? or pictures can not be resized in wap browser?? Thanks dejie |

I depends on the phone used I suppose, they've all got their own quirks. Some will let you other will not.
Why not use something like GD Library to manipulate the image server side. You make it sound like the images are in a database, if so your script that outputs them can change the dimensions it outputs I guess.
