Menus , what makes for the easiest navigation ?
Hi
I have a local(regional) internet portal and am developing some of my content for wireless access... i.e., weather-radar, scores, movie times, tides, local business search(yellow page) etc etc.... What type of navigation works best...? I have had a few problems using drop down form types so I have gone to using hyper links... What are the advantages / disadvantages of either ? also with the drop downs I have found some phones (emulators anyway) won't navigate to the selections (especially if you want to get to the default selection) without a "go" or "select" button...??? Looking for input...TIA |

Hyperlinks are better because drop downs look like regular links on some phones, and they can make the navigating slower

Yes, stick to links. Forget trying to get the buttons to play nice across all phones. I learned that lesson the hard way

An Ordered list of links usually works Great because you can use the nuberpad 0-9 to click the link instead of scrolling to it
