My site can access colored webpages - but rejects my xhtml page
I own an LG 5300i and my carrier has their own GPRS site. When I go there - I can see that the images are in color - I could even download wallpapers for free.
The problem is that I couldn't create a mobile site with similar colored images. I've created a WAP-WML site which I could access from my phone but as we all know .wbmp images are in black-and-white. I tried to create an XHTML-site but my LG says "Unknown Content" ... would anyone here have any idea how my carrier's site was created ? If it was in XHTML - how come the .xhtml site I created couldn't be accessed ? I checked the MIME types in my host server and they have the mime types for xhtml... do I need to do some more ? Thanks. |

Is your connection a WAP one or an internet one?
I have at least 2 types of connections on my phone. The main ones are WAP GRPS and Internet. Is your xhtml formatted correctly?

I think you can put .gif images in a WML card if your mobile phone supports gif. wbmp is not the only image format that you can use in WML. |
