networked land line phones with browsers

Does anyone know of any regular (home based) cordlless telephones that have a network interface ?

I think they will be huge... most people use one or more (land line) cordless phones ... and just as many people have home networks broadband connections and routers)

If the phone makers would incorporate a network interface with the set... all it would take is a hand set with a mini-browser and a base unit patched into the network... it would turn the handset into a mini-mobile computer with access to every Data/WAP site... anywhere in the phones range... including all the yellow page etd...

how difficult would it be to put a browser in and handset and a NIC in the base unit ?

still looking and waiting... two years ago I wrote to all the manufactureres and still I have seen nothing along this line...?
