Opera Mini
Hi peeps,
Not strictly WAP, but is can browse WAP sites so: I wondered what your thoughts on Opera Mini were? I just noticed that it was available when I was downloading Opera for my laptop. I saw that is was available for the N6101 and downloaded it. Bad: 1) I find it very slow, though that may just be my phone. 2) I don't like the way that it "abbreviates" menus if they are too long. Good: 1) Bookmarks on start-up page 2) RSS feeds Also, since it identifies itself as Opera, I need to modify my detection script ![]() Have you used it? How do you find it? What phone are you using?

I've used it on the Moto Razr-V3i, Moto v360, Moto v300.
I like it. It is a bit slower, but everything is slow on tmobile. Moto screwed it over on the v360 and Razr with "are you sure" prompts. Mostly I use the built in WAP browser, unless I need to get to a non-wap page, then I use Opera Mini. I've never used the RSS in it though. |
