Problem with jar mime type
I am having a problem downloading .jar files on my wap site. I think i set up the correct mime type in apache's mime.type file.
Code:
text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor jad application/java-archive jar This is the link i am using on my wap page: Code:
<anchor>Download now <go href="contactslist.jar"/> </anchor> The download starts just fine but when it hits the 100% on my phone i get an error message "Operation Failed" and the download doesn't complete. Any idea why this may be happening. I have restarted apache after updating the mime.types file and am quite clueless as to why this is happening. |

It's ok i have sorted the problem. I stupidly uploaded the jar files in ascii file format
should have done it in binary. It's what people from my neck of the woods call a schoolboy error. |
