Retrieve telephone number?

Hi

I know it's unlikely, but is it possible to obtain the telephone number of the WAP user, so you can, for example, restrict access to a certain telephone no? I have also heard about sending a digital certificate to a phone, and limiting access to only the people have the certificate stored on their phone. Any idea how I go about this?

You can't obtain the phone number, it never leaves the gateway. This is planned for future inclusion, but will still not be accessible. Instead use the environmental variable:
HTTP_X_UP_SUBNO
Which is the unique 32 character subscriber ID of the device.
