Just a quick thought, I know this is an old thread but does anyone who's posted know of any good ready to roll sms or prs / ivr services?
I'm looking for a service in a box where all we'd have to do is promote. Things like horoscopes, live chat, sporting tips, tarot, wind up calls and so on. Thanks |

quick follow up to this post.
www.textanywhere.co.uk are very very fast when it comes to sending messages, slight drawback is that at the moment they do not support wap push but the plus is the speed of delivery and the simple SOAP API. Charges are average, no interconnects as all that is taken into account in the initial message pricing which is dependant on usage. |

MBlox are one of the biggest out there, they are good from what I've heard but I never liked their API so used someone else that time.
It's really the likes of MX Telecom, WIN Plc and MBlox that stand out from the rest from what I can gather. |

Have you checked out www.WirelessMedia.com I've used them for years, and they've been exceptionally reliable.. I use their mobile content, SMS and Premium SMS services as well as their Premium Telephone stuff as well - fully recommend them!

I have tried to signup to http://www.zimepl.com/ a few times now -- i dont know if they work anymore, their copyright still says 2004.
They seemed like the cheapest in the UK aswell ![]() I'm going to give that wirelessmedia a go, they look cheap, and have a nice website ![]() |

well it's a shame but i sent a message through our (very rarely used) zimepl account late last night and the message just came through some 16 hours later.
they still suck so it seems. cheap isn't always good and in the case of zim cheap truly sucks. |

Hi, I've can recommend ZipZapText for Internet to text message services. They use full international numbers to send the texts, so people outside the UK can reply easily. Also, delivery receipts are a standard feature. |

I've been using clickatell.com for over a year. Very reliable and texts are usually sent within a few seconds.
All my customers are in the UK so I can't say what the international service is like, but clickatel is in SA so should be no difference. No setup fee, minimum purchase is 200 credits which works out to about 6p (USD 0.12) per message (depends on message size and also different networks use different number of credits per message). Prices are cheaper for bulk purchases. I use PHP and the HTTP API. |
