My main concern is intentional spam by clients who may user my service and how to protect myself.
Teleflip for instance is a free service you send an email to and it instantly gets sent to the phone user. I guess they can limit how many per sends per ip and per email, but Im guessing there has to be a good amount of unsolicited email -> sms being sent. smseverywhere.com is running a similar service but is not free, due to them adding a bunch of front-end features/goodies.
So if anyone has any advice for me I would appreciate it. My service would be small and nothing major, like 100,000 sends a day.

Hi
You can not stop the spam and even you might think it is spam your client who uses your sms system would argue that it is not spam.
