sms sent to server. server replies w/ sms

Hi Guys,

Anyone ever use Googles SMS service? It's where you send goog a txt message w/ a query and you recieve a txt message back w/ info.

...well i need something similar. A cell phone user sends a txt to a email address. A program reads the email w/ the txt query and replies w/ a small resolution picture stored in a mysql database. Is this possible? Is kannel.org needed? It is for domestic use only. thoughts/job jabacomp -at- yahoo

Imagine a database w/ the latest real estate listings and pics.

Will work like this:

cell phone user sends a sms to an email acct w/ subject heading "dallas" . i.e. latesthomes@domain.com

email recieves sms and records the phone's email address

php program reads through sms and finds the subject matter "dallas"

program matches "dallas" to a database query

a database query for "san diego" is found and is executed i.e. select pic from houses sort by date, time where location="dallas"

any ideas? would very much appreciate anyone's feedback.
