As you may or may not know, you can view any web page (almost) that is found through google search in a scaled down version.
I have my site set up so it renders content according to accept_type. However, when I view pages on my phone that were found by google, I get an abbreviated version of the html version. I want to be able to redirect somehow to the actual wap (xhtml MP) page without relying on the user clicking on the "view in original format" link that is provided at the foot of the page. I am using PHP currently to do the detection, but thought that htaccess would be the way forward. htaccess Code:
However, I feel this may cause an infinite loop. How do people do this currently?

May be something to do with the way they cache pages -
what is the default content type of the page you are trying to protect? You know you can test the wireless transcoder through the following url: http://www.google.com/gwt/n?u=yourdomain.com |
