Unhappy Trouble with Nokia Activ Server

Hi there,

I'm trying to set up a WAP server using Win NT 4.0 machine and a 56k modem as a dial in line. I have everything I need installed and the Avtiv server starts up just as the instructions say.

The problem I have is that I can't get a response from the server when running an emulator/browser/WAP device!

It's very frustrating as I followed the instructions to the letter but it still won't work!

When I dial in, the WAP phone manages to log on to Win NT (I can see this in the Event Veiwer) but then it gives me the message "Server not responding" (I also don't see any traffic on the Activ console).

Does anyone know what I can try (I think half the problem is that I'm quite a novice with servers etc. and so don't know where to look for the problems) or has anyone had a similar problem??

Thanks,

Jürgen Wellinger.
