upload sound from phone to website
dear all,
I hope anyone can help. How can I call my website?? Is there a way where I talk on my phone and a database automatically stores it as a sound files and publishes on my website. The database and the publishing thing are not the problem... more how to get the sound from the mobile to the database. I probably need to record it and send it as e-mail?? Any other idea...would be a great help.

If you're in a microsoft environment you could utilize the TAPI interface with a voice enabled modem to save the phone call to a wav file. TAPI is not the most friendly interface in the world, and I don't have a tremendous amount of experience working with it....but I do know that it can facilitate what you are looking for.
Hope this helps...there's a decent amount of info on TAPI in google groups and on the MSDN site.
