URL in SMS

Hello,
I'm using Clickatell and their API to send SMS from my site.

My question is how can I send an SMS that would automatically parse the URL and make it clickable so the user can click it on their phone and be directed to the link?

i tried this:

$body = urlencode("Test <a href=\"http://www.google.ca\">google</a>");

the variable body is being sent as the SMS but on my phone i get everything printed out including the href etc.

any ideas?

If the sms accepted SMS you can try:

Original - php Code
<?php $body = 'Test <a href="'. urlencode('http://www.google.ca') .'">google</a>';

<?php
$body = 'Test <a href="'. urlencode('http://www.google.ca') .'">google</a>';

If it automagically transforms urls, then a simple http://www.google.ca would suffice.

i left it as just a URL without the HREF and it worked!
