We need free wap hosting service.

Our test wap site is at (http://wapindya.cjb.net) note: please use your wap enabled mobile device like pda or cell phone or wap brosers like wapsilon and winwap.It currently does not work on web browsers.

Our wap site is currently under development, and soon we will be advertising it in local newspapers and media.

our wapsite is a portal based on indian youth which will provide free cell phone content (themes, applications, games ,wallpapers), product reviews, latest offerings, email services, chat and all the services
which can be provided on wap cell phones.

Why we need FreeHosting:

As it is a nonprofit wapsite, and is dedicated to the youth of india for providing free content, technical articles, product reviews, chat or email etc. As the number of wap users in india is growing/sec because of free network service providers.

We are a group of students, not currently in business, so we can not pay the monthly charges of dedicated wap or web hosting servers.
But soon we will be able to do so.

Hey // Advertising doesn't mean that am gonna pay for articles in newspapers and media like tv, city cable and magazines. I have a plan, am not going to advertise using our personal banners etc. But it will be sort of Hi Tech news for the local and national newspapers. My Uncle works in Tribune News paper and with their help i can have a press conference after the launch of our wap site. and i plan to launch the wap site with the help of some cyber cafe, which has recently opened in the city. They too need some publicity and it would be a great chance for them to shake hands wid the invitees including all the newspapers and Tvmedia executives. So i am no way going to spend a single penny on my projects, moreover i am also having good response from our college's principal. I hope if he can sponsor our project. Actually , i and my other team members are working hard not just for our own benefits, but actually for the welfare of the Youth seeking information, content, and other important data on the internet.

Hey, Our Wapsite and Website is nearly 50 % now, Please do let me no if there is any difference in wap based and web based domain names. and if yes please refer me som gud site.

And yeah i can give u links on my wap site and even website and even can add a dedicated section for your wap site.

So the only problem i do have is a domain name. As u no our probz, "We r students"

There's no difference at all between web and wap domain names.

When buying a domain name I recommend GoDaddy.com not only do they have great prices they also offer excellent support 24 hours a day! You can find a link for them on this post http://forums.devshed.com/showthread.php?p=733215

I don't work for godaddy and I don't get paid for promoting them by the way, I just think they're good!
