What is the most popular dynamic language used in wap now?
What is the most popular dynamic language used in wap now?
I've found out that ASP.NET mobile control can produce different kind of codes, wml on handphone and html on PDA , meaning that contents in the PDA are richer. Is there any other languages can do the same thing just like ASP.NET mobile control? thanks

Any scripting language can generate WML / XHTML / HTML pages it's down to what you feel most comfortable coding in.
My preference is PHP partnered with MySQL databases, that combination allows me to do everything I need to do. Others might show preference to Perl, JSP or ASP but they're all able to output the headers that a phone will understand. As for showing WML on cellphones and XHTML on PDA's that's just an if statement based on HTTP_USER_AGENT and what the device can accept which allows the server to decide what to output
