Winsock Client Protocol error in VB.NET

Hey ppl. Im trying to connect to to a server using a VB.NET client application.Im in VS.NET and using Winsock control.When i try to send data to the server through the Winsock i get this error:

An unhandled exception of type 'System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException' occurred in axinterop.mswinsocklib.dll

Additional information: Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A9C46.

Please help!
