WML - displaying japanese and english text
I am writing a program that will display both japanese and english character sets. I seemed to have updated the character encodiing correctly as I am using firefox's wml emulator to test my code....which when testing prints out the actual japanese text. However, when I attempt to view it my cell phone, everything displays except for the japanese characters. Now, I know the encoding is working properly, but does anyone have any idea as to why it might not display on mobile devices?
Here's my html headers: Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-2022-jp"?><!DOCTYPE wml PUBLIC "-//WAPFORUM//DTD WML 1.1//EN" "http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/wml_1.1.xml"> ...the charset in php is also being set to "iso-2022-jp" ....so what am I doing wrong? |
