wml pages not viewable even though mime is set correctly.

Hi,

I'm currently building a server which I want to serve wap pages. It's running debian woody + apache. I have edited my httpd.conf to include the correct mime types and serve up index.wml by default, but it is still not working.

The site works perfectly when accessed using any of the desktop based emulators I have found, but returns errors when I try to access it with a real phone.

I can't access the site at all. Have you tried validating the XML language itself. There is a validator at www.w3schools.com for wap pages.

Would you be able to try again please? It was down yesterday.

I'm wondering if that is the problem, because it seems to be fairly simple to set up a wap server.

I'm simply wondering if the wap gateways I'm trying to access the site through aren't letting me connect.

I'm in the UK if that makes any difference.

Hi, Well I have viewed in Firebird and Opera browsers OK. Couldn't get the page to validate at w3, but that may be my PC setup.
Validated at htmlhelp, so I am not sure what is wrong, sorry..

I can't get w3 to work either, it works for the .wml on it's on site, but not mine (doesn't give an error or anything).
