wml/wap index?
what would be the filename for a wap site's index
ie: site is wap.websitename.com and all user would have to enter is that above URL to gain access to the site

You can use any filename as the default document, e.g. index.wml, default.wml, index.asp. You can change this in your web server's configuration. Just like what would do with HTML files.
