Below is the effect I want:
creating a frames page in which one frame consists of a navigation bar whose elements, when clicked, load different documents into a primary content frame, thereby leaving the frame in which the navigation elements reside completely unchanging. However I do not want to use frames.. Is there an alternative to navigating in the same way. ![]() |

Maybe you should look into includes... There are many ways to do it, php and stuff. It will allow you to take your navigation and stuff (footer?) in one file (one for the navigation, one for the footer...) and include it in every page...
