back/forward buttons
im sure this is probably a simple task, but hey, i have no idea which scripts to use etc. if i have a number of pictures on a website (a comic book spacifically) and want to browse them uaing back/forward fires last etc buttons, without having to adjust the coding on every page, how would i go about this, is there a script which will automatically make "last" the issue with the largest number after it, and automatically keep going on "next" until it reaches the end. we have php and mysql, tho have no idea how to set up the sql database, it will have to be explained if it is required. thanks in advance.

well you could use php and mysql, it would be better in the end.
But a short quick solution is to use an array in javascript, along with settimeout or setinterval. it would be your typical slideshow. Do a searh on the forums, here is a quick one you can view: http://forums.devshed.com/search.php?searchid=466145
