Best Size For Background Image ?
Hi.
I want to make a background image for my website and wondering which one loads fastest. For example : 4 on 4 pixels or 100 on 100 or ... I don't need any fancy images, just something more that one color. I have seen many professional sites and some of them use 10 on 10, others 400 on 400 pixels images, so i wonder what size should i use to make the page load fastest? Can u help me with your experience. Thanx. |

defnitely the smaller pixels should load faster. that depends on your image as well. Is it a few colour tones or is it a picture/icon to be your background? The first is smaller than the latter.
