On http://www.stone-env.com/ and using IE 6 / Win XP, I can't use the usual click-drag method to select text to then copy-paste. I can do this in Opera 7 and Firefox 1.0.
How come, and how to fix? My thoughts are that either the javascript that messes with right-clicking (in order to semiprotect images) or the CSS that has absolutely positioned divs is part of the issue. Please advise! metasilk p.s Not sure which is the best forum to post this question in. Trying this one, the Lounge, and Javascript. Please forgive me for the cross-posting. I'm having no trouble with it using IE6. Maybe it has to do with exactly where you do your mousedown to start highlighting. If you start on one of the subtitles, which are links to other pages, it'll give you trouble because it's a link. If you start above or below any of those subtitles, it works fine.

Thank you for checking! I'm now *really* perplexed, of course... Which IE6? Are you also using Win XP? Which service pak? (If you don't mind my asking). |
