click image -> enlarge to be next page? how?
i saw this effect on a site that was sooooo cool. i wish i remember where so i could let you see what im talking about instead of me fumbling with it...but here goes..
when you clicked an image (which was also a navigation link), it enlarged, whether it was framed, or layered, i have no clue, maybe it was flash even, but anyway, when it enlarged, it became the next page. how do i do this? i have a 400x350 image sitting in a layer. i have it set up as a link. it has a rollover state to text stating " enter " the link is to index1.htm. i would like the image to enlarge and change to index1.htm after a users single click. i am at the end of my very short dreamweaver rope with this one guys. any help or direction to a tutorial, or even a label or terminology for the process im describing so i can do my own tutorial search would be much appreciated. thanks in advance!! |

Hmmnnn... As you've said, it is definitely a cool thing! Though I don't have any good answer on how to achieve that effect, I just wanna say, if you do find out how, can you post it here? I, and i'm sure countless others, would want to know how to do something like that too.
And yes, the url too ![]() .alienx

Sounds like a simple rollover/image swap but instead of using a second image similar to the first, their using a mini screen print image of that page?
