Converting a directory of .JPG to .BMP

We have over a thousand .jpgs in one directory that we need in .bmp format. It is not therefore practical to use a typical import/export approach in a graphics package. Help!

Paint Shop Pro has a batch conversion utility that allows you to convert a group of image file from one type to another.
