Defining a background?
I've recently read that when you apply a background colour, eg black, in a web page it will have to be 'defined' in order for it to show black in other users browsers. If it isn't 'defined' other browsers may revert to their default settings of i.e. white.
Does any of this ring true to anyone? I'm currently building a small web site using Dreamweaver MX so I would therefore appreciate any help/advice Cheers. |

what do you consider as defined color? using word instead of hex code for it, or what? i never heard that any of the popular browsers do what you mentioned...
cheers,
