Designing for Mac browser on a PC
Hi, I am designing a website that should work on Internet Explorer on a Macintosh computer. I only have a PC(Windows XP) to design it the website on and I want a way of testing the website on a Macintosh.
I think I have two options: To download a 'Mac emulator' and then install a version of the 'Mac IE browser'? OR Install an emulator of the 'Mac version of IE' for Windows? I have yet to 'research' (i.e. Google) these options, so does anybody know what is the best approach? (I'm hoping there is a special IE Mac browser emulator because I have dial-up and don't want to download a massive emulator) Thanks!

Or do what I do. I keep a couple of Mac-user friends handy to test things for me that I've developed on PC/IE. "Ok, try it now. Ok, try it now." Could sound painful, but not really. And usually it's both fun and instructive. You learn stuff that way.

If you are still working on this issue... I also develop Web sites, using a Mac but test on a secondary PC. I don't really worry too much about IE for Mac, since it has been discontinued, is one of the buggiest browsers on earth, and very few Mac users actually use it. Feel free to ping me if you want anything tested out though, would be glad to lend a hand!
