do u know where i could purchase the font alone without the whole series font?

No, I don't - sorry. It's pretty common practice for a font house to sell slight variations of a typeface together. Adobe owns this one, so I would be surprised if you can even buy it from somewhere other than Adobe itself (or EyeWire, an authorized reseller). In case you do want to buy it from Adobe, though, it's only $96: http://www.adobe.com/type/browser/P/P_176.html
