Unhappy dreamweaver MX and MACs

I have just switched over from using a PC using DW to a MAC using DW MX. My site was based around a number of templates but now on the MAC I cannot seem to edit any of my pages, it seems that my editable regions are not being recognised. Has anyone had a similar problem?

I've copied DW files between Mac and PC without any problems (DWMX and DWMX2004). There shouldn't be any issues with editable regions.

I have to wonder: How did you copy the site over? If you used the PC to put the files on a CD, then copied them from there to the Mac, the files are locked -- they become "read only" when put them on the CD, and when you copy them from the CD to your Mac they keep that "read only" status.

In the Finder, you can do a "get info" on them (hit command-I) to check. Make sure the "Locked" checkbox is unchecked, and also it wouldn't hurt to check the "Ownership and Permissions" and make sure you have permission to read and write to them.
