Drop down menus

I used to use Fireworks to make my drop down menus, then moved the software generated code into Dreamweaver. I have stopped using Fireworks altogether (for a number of reasons), opting for Photoshop instead. The one thing I can't do though, is to make simple little dropdowns. Can someone send me a free third party app that will create them for me, or a tutorial on how to make them myself inside of Photoshop?

Thanks.

Hi there,
i'm assuming by 'drop-downs' you mean roll-over type menus that are graphically based.

i don't know exactly where to send you for the photoshop tutorial, but i would advise against doing your menus that way.
Try http://www.alistapart.com/articles/horizdropdowns/ that instead. it's a simple way to create attractive, cross-browser friendly, and functional menus, and you don't need a whole lot of css or javascript knowledge.

also look up 'suckerfish' too.

good luck!
