Finding a Design
I've been having a hard time choosing a design and sticking with it. I'm looking for a design that's pleasing to the eyes, nice and simple, and easy to navigate.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page http://www.debian.org/ Those are pretty cool. Post some URLs to Web sites with designs that fit the above description. |

hi, I know exactly how you feel. I'm still looking around for a web design to stick to for my personal webpage. I like how those Flash websites look like and I like the way people can interact with the website and not be overwhelmed by text and pictures. Here's a few examples that I think are pretty cool:
URL URL URL Here a few regular websites that I like the format... URL URL URL Hope this helps a little. |

When I am looking to redesign or design a site, one of my first stops is CSS Zen Garden. Great site with a ton of different designs.

http://www.csszengarden.com/ is pretty cool.
I recommend this Web site, too: http://www.oswd.org/ (Open Source Web Design). I really like Something Awful's design, but I don't want to steal the design. I like the headers, how the articles are in the middle, a navbar on the side. It would definitely work on my Web site. Everything is perfect. Have any ideas how I can design something without (completely) stealing theirs? |
