Depends on what type of database you are using and what version of flash. Flash (3+) can import other flash files into sublayers or as replacement of itself. If your database query has a flash friendly URL, you could use flash to call the URL to load the images/flash files.

    Hey Aquaman,

I've vaguely read something about doing that and I think you might need to convert the jpg images into swf format so that flash can load them in... Maybe that has changed with newer flash versions (?)

Would you be storing the whole image in the database as a blob or just a referece to the image in the file system?
    Never say never.
