the fonts folder on the control panel
If you are using windows, you simply copy both to the fonts folder in the control panel. I belive it's called "fonts" in all versions of windows. Then the font will be avaliable for use in most of your applications (such as photoshop or fireworks). Make sure you note the name of the font and not the file name because they are usually different. The name of the font is what you will see in the dropdown menu. You can find the name by opening the ttf file.
