Hey everyone...
I was wondering, if I use a non-standard Windows font on my webpage would I have to upload the font into the same directory? Is there a way where it loads directly rather than having them install it?? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!! |

I think you just have to link to in, so you can probably upload it anywhere:
http://www.ssi-developer.net/design/embed-font.shtml is one tutorial example... HTH

My opinion is, don't do it.
You have to convert the fonts with some kind of special font convertor, then you have to write special code to access the font,(different code for IE and everybody else). I would think all this would be a pain for the viewer as well as you. You never know how your viewer is going to see it, it could be terrible. If you stick to the basic fonts, and then use fancy ones as images I think you will be much happier. just my rant, robert |
