Front Page 98 Button
Hi
I am a newbie at web design and am trying to get to grips with Front Page 98 a program I have had for a long time but have never used. I have managed to create some simple pages and want to have a button that the user can click to return to the home page. I have created a button from the toolbar but it then appears on every page and clicking it has no effect. I can't figure out how to : - 1. Assign an action to the button 2. Only have it appear on the page I have selected. There is some suggestion in the help file that I need to insert the URL of the page to which the button should be linked but I have no idea what this should be. The page to which I want to link is in C:\Webshare\wwwroot. Grateful for any help and suggestions for further reading. Mike Collard |

This is the most simplest of HTML. You need to ditch Frontpage (which is a terrible application for writing HTML with), go buy a book on HTML and start doing this yourself.
