Generating news feeds for website
Hi
Im doing a website that is music related. I want to have a small section that has the latest music headlines so users can keep up to date. But to save me constantly updating the news manually I would like to have some code like an RSS news feed or some Javascript that will pull the information from a website like www.nme.com or www.rollingstone.com or any other website with up to date music news. The only thing is Im not entirely sure how to go about doing this. Can anybody point me in the right direction. I also want to be able to format the news in some way or at least have it scrolling. Thanks Brian |

RSS Feeds are usually provided in XML form. If you aren't that familiar with XML, maybe Macromedia products such as Dreamweaver and Flash can help you integrate it as they both have builtin web service support for things like this.

I use FeedsDirect on one of my sites. The headlines aren't real great for my topic (marketing research), but for popular topics, like music, they might be pretty good.
