Exclamation Getting around Internet Explorer's newest security

I always update my Windows and put in all the security updates for the OS and IE and all that stuff. I figure that most people are also doing the same or their newest computer purchase will be at the same level. In any event, I'm having trouble getting my web pages to run in the newest version of IE 6 SP2.

I've built my websites using JavaScript-controlled form drop-down menus, javascript-made windows that open when you click on a link, and Flash animations & navigations. However, the most recent security updates for IE now has this "information bar" that appears across the top and says that IE has blocked "potentially harmful" Active X and JavaScript code - thus, all my javascript menus, windows and my flash animations don't function, which is shutting down the functionality of my website!

Now, I being somewhat "computer savvy" know that it's OK, and I allow the "blocked content" and everything then works fine. However most, if not all, of my web viewers and potential viewers are not that savvy, and they may believe that the code is malicious and decide to block the content - which then the site won't function.

Is there any kind of coding I can put in to the .js files and the code used to display the Flash content (that's auto-generated by Flash MX to "detect for Flash 6") so that IE will NOT block it? This is a real problem for me since it's my company's website and we've spent good money on the site (and me) to make it function! Everyone that uses our site uses IE so I'm sure they're experiencing the same problems as I'm having. I really, REALLY need to resolve this A.S.A.P. or I'm sunk!!!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Unhappy Response to Private Message...

For some reason, I couldn't reply to someone who sent me a message regarding this (every time I viewed it, it had erased all the text I was trying to sent to the person) - so, here's the message:

As far as I know, there isn't any way around this problem. The best thing I've been able to do is put a warning on my index page for IE users to allow the content if and when the warning pops up. To be honest, you can thank all those hackers out there with their viruses, trojans, spyware, etc., exploiting Microsoft's swiss-cheese operating system and apps. for our "modern inconvenience" woes.

The only other thing you can do is to use a combination of DHTML & CSS to create menus. Although, you have to be careful because IE doesn't understand all of the code in CSS/DHTML, especially code used to make cascading menus. The guy I downloaded cascading menu code from included JavaScript code which allows IE to work the menu properly. Remember how it works: There's how everyone else in the industry does things, then there's "Microsoft's way" (because Microsoft wants the industry to make THEIR way the industry-standard!)

Unfortunately, the web has fallen into the hands of the programmers. So your choice is to get web programming/coding books and start learning to code, or spend hundreds of dollars on applications that will do it for you. I do the latter myself (ooooooh, my aching wallet!! )
