I'm not Mr Graphics, but I tend to use Flash for creating occasional animated gifs (it's an export option) - mainly because it's so easy to use, and there's loads of export options for reducing file size etc. An example of an animated gif created in Flash:
http://smith.webhostme.com/images/plane2.gif It was for some sort of naff special offer ad for a company I was working for at the time. 28k, not too bad really. |

dang65> I tried flash. the animations were too large and did not offer advanced optimizing methods of other gif animation apps but it was sooo easy, its tempting.
