Help design Navigation bar graphics
Can someone point me to a tutorial for designing a navigation bar. I liked the current navigation bar at www.sonystyle.com . I have the image rollover scripts for the menu, but need to know how to design the graphics. I know that they use some transparent gifs as well, but need to learn how the image rollovers are being created in either fireworks or photoshop. If someone knows a tutorial for similar menu bar design then please let me know.
Thanks |

I had already checked that, but I was looking to find some help in regards to designing them with fireworks instead of photoshop. I am used to working with fireworks. Can anyone point me out to a tutorial on how to create the menu designs (similar to the sonystyle.com one) and embed them in ur page using css liquid layouts. |

That particular nav bar is javascript, actually DHTML coded.
THere are many companys that sell easy to use programs to design these toolbars. I design them all the time for clients and it make orgainizing data much easier. check out www.swordfishingcentral.com .. Not sure if I'm aloud to post links.. but that is an example of the nav bar. Let me know if you need more details. Mike |

Actually, if you have Fireworks, you should go to macromedia's website and check out their on demand video tutorials. They have a short tutorial on creating a nav with Fireworks itself. After all that's what Fireworks is for.
