    Hi!

There are a couple of things you kan do to get those rounded corners. The fastest way is to simply make one regular rektangular selection then go up to select in the meny on top oft the screen. Choose modify/smooth. You probobly need to experiment for a while before you feel that it looks good.

The second that comes in mind is making the selection by channels. Thre you will have moore powers over your marquie. so to speak.

what i like to do is make the box with guides. Thne make perfect circles in each corners and fill them with yoru desired colors. Then connect the circles with two rectangle selection tools. I use this technique a lot, works well. The results are much more satisfying than the gaussion blur involving methods or sites post.

The best way to create box or line graphics in photoshop is first create any form of objects using illustrator or freehand and paste it in photoshop. Use vector graphic softwares to become a true graphic designer. www.ezipindia.com

I have tried all these techniques, I use the Xenofex plug in set. It has a nifty rounded rectangle maker... fast and easy.

    Get Photoshop 6.0

I use Illustrator for my main layout or hard lines and export as a psd file. I work in layers with illustrator so it works out fine!

What you can also do is simply use the clipping path tool and make a selection. The clipping path sort of works like the line tool in illustrator...
