Help with site nav bar
Hello all, a firend of mine is making a site in his web dev class. and the whole class and the teacher are stumbed on this one.
http://is268.nhti.edu/student107/index.htm if you go to the page and check out the "Products" button a side nav bar will pop up. my question is how do we get rid of the "flicker" or "shanking" when the menu loads. thanks for the help -Rick- |

When I hover over those items in the product menu, you are changing the background image. Try preloading the necessary images with javascript at the top of the page.

It happens when you move your mouse up and down over the submenu of products. The preloader sounds like a good idea. Nothing comes to mind for me.

No flicker with Firebird. The problem is with IE & FrontPage. Get rid of both. Use CSS instead of JS. While I'm on my mini-rant, use CSS instead of tables. Tell your friend to find another class, if it's not too late.
