Two sites will help you complete this task.

http://www.w3schools.com

and when you have questions about something

http://www.google.com

as well as the parent site of this forum

On top of that you'll need hosting, start with a free host, you can google for them.

You'll probably be asking about what program to use, just stick with notepad for now.

If you are completly green on the subject i might advice you to use one of those "create easy" hosts that helps you make a simple working site - atleast just for starters. Or maybe use a program to help you like Microsoft Frontpage og Macromedia Dreamweaver.

Unless you know HTML alrdy i'd say it would become abit confusing starting out with it.
Sorry that i can't give u an reflinks, but i'm not to acostum with other then danish hosts - sorry :/

Is this for a business or personal? If it is for a business, hire someone to do it for you. If it is for you personally, I recommend reading Paul McFedries's An Idiot's Guide to Creating a Webage (http://www.mcfedries.com). if you want to not be typing lines and lines of code, use Dreamweaver or GoLive. NOT Frontpage.

Hi. Will you be creating your webpage with a WYSIWYG editor like Dreamweaver or Front Page, or are you planning to use notepad? You could always use a website template to make things easier.

But Can I update my website at any time or do I have to pay everytime to do that?

Is their a way in keeping my website at least the 1st 20 when you do a search for a website at no Cost?

If the webpage will have 4 links where will it link to? Someone else's website? If it will link to pages by you then your website will actually be 5 pages (4 links + home page).

You can create it by using HTML code. You can learn HTML from various sources like webmonkey.com.

You asked: Can I update my website at any time or do I have to pay everytime to do that? For my services, I guess it would depend on how often you would want to change it or what you would want to change. If its only a minor change like some text or images, I probably wouldnt charge you but if it is going to be regular changes that need to be made, you may incur and hourly fee or maybe a technology other than HTML would be more efficient for what you are trying to accomplish. I would have to have more details to give you an exact answer.

You also asked: Is their a way in keeping my website at least the 1st 20 when you do a search for a website at no Cost?
This is not a yes or no answer. It depends on what keywords you will be targeting, etc. Again, until I have more information, I can't give you an exact answer but...I am willing to help you. If you aren't sure about keywords, you could read my article about finding targeted keywords..

I would be glad to help you sort things out.
