Iframe alternative?
Hi everyone,
I am very new to web design and may be in over my head here but I am trying ![]() I hoped you could look at my page (still being developed). I would like to get the calendar to sit in this page without having to scroll or see white areas around it. The only way I have even gotten it to work is with Iframe. I have played with the width and height adjustments but havent found a setting to my liking. Is there another way that I should be doing this? I have tried changing the CSS of the source (calendar.asp) and havent had any luck. Here is the page I am referring to http://temp.1552sports.ntwebb.com/soffhl.asp Thanks for reading - looking forward to your input. |

i dont think you need an iframe to show the calendar. why not just do a server-side includes of the file if you are afraid of copying and pasting the code into your other pages?

I have tried to copy and paste but then the page only comes up with an error. I havent tried SSI - my host does support it. Just did a quick search to learn a bit. found some code. would <!--#include file="calendar.asp"--> Do the trick? Unfortunatly I am at work and cant test from here. Or am I way off? THanks |

Thanks for the replies.
Not really having much of an idea what I am doing here makes it hard for me to trouble shoot, so I appreciate your input. I tried the SSI as it is posted a few lines above. The Calendar.asp file is in the same dir as the page it is linked from. When I try to load the page I get an "expected error" from the calendar.asp file? Any ideas? |
