Issue with website downtime..

Hey guys, I just need some advice about a website I have running on some webspace I bought, 1000mb to be precise (which i'm using about 10% of).

Anyways, I have a personal website in the main public_html folder, and I have whole different website in a sub-folder, which also has it's own domain attached to it. The site has a forum and a lot of unique visitors per day.

Problem is, the sub-site keeps going down and is pretty f*cking unstable, but my main site (in public_html) has no problems whatsoever..

Is this a host problem, or a general error in how the websites put together?

Should I buy a different server for this site? Any advice is appreciated..

Thanks
Tom

First this thread should be moved to another thread. this is not an html issue.

I would say this could be a server config issue or even a hosting issue. It could also be a traffic limit issue*(meaning the sites under is using to much traffic of your allowed traffic and therefore crashes). But I would be guessing since we couldnt really know by your info.

Try finding your error log *even ask your host for it,, to find you which error codes that comes up. Then do some troubleshooting from there.
