Load off screen

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to force a webpage to load before being displayed. I have recently developed a website that has a number of images in it as well as a background image on each page.

These load 1 by 1 every time you change page and while it isn't slow loading, it still looks noticably unprofessional. I have seen a method of preloading 'roll-over' images using javascript, however, it is necessary to specify each image individually which I think is fairly impractical in a large site.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

Kind Regards
