Well, here is something I can't seem to figure out. Anyone know how to make Flash dynamic?
For example say I have a script that outputs text in my page from my MySQL db. How would you integrate that text into a Flash Player Movie? Is there some way to replace text in a Flash Player Movie without exporting a seperate .swf file for each diffenent Flash Movie that I want to have. I am currently considering multiple .swf files but I know that there must be a better way especially after seeing the Flash Blaster section of this site. Also anyone know where to find scripting info on Flash? Such as custom behaviors and variables that it allows and what languages it supports? The manual is not very specific. Thanks! |

I've got a, slightly old, tutorial at
http://smith.webhostme.com/cv009.asp which may help. It's very basic, and shows how to query a database (via ASP - but same method stands for PHP) and have the result returned in a Flash swf. This was done after Flash 4 came out. Hope it helps anyway. |
