MSWord password ASP Authentication

Well, I have a secure section on a website that has been created in ASP, each page verifies that the logon creds are correct (the ones entered when logging in) before displaying, anyway, I have been asked to place incorporate a Word.doc file into this section, I can password protect the word document ok but I want it to open without prompting the user to enter another password....basically, I would like to know if and how it is possible for my code to authenticate the user to MS Word automatically..??

Sorry if my terminology is crap but I’m quite new to this.!!!

Many Thanks
WS
