Please Help ... Horizontal scroll bars and recordsets

Hi,

I really hope some one can help me. I am creating a website to sell ladies clothing and I want to display all the items that come under a particular category on one page. What I want to do is use a scroll bar to go through the items returned in my sql query. I haven't really got a clue where to start, do i use table or frames?

I am working with php and mysql using dreamweaver as my editor.

How is the scroll bar created, is it done in dreamweaver?

Any help anyone can give me would be a great help and would be greatly appreciated.
